I struggled to pass the writing exam for a teaching credential program and had to take it multiple times. It was very stressful! Being an English as Second Language (ESL) speaker, writing a standard essay format was challenging. Mel assisted me in focusing on my errors and efficiently gave me suggestions for corrections. She was very patient and friendly, which made our learning sessions much less stressful. Mel has helped me become more productive and completed my higher education program at ease. I would have never thought that I actually have adopted her motto that writing is fun! Crazy to say, but yes Mel. Writing is fun!! *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*

I really enjoy being tutored by Mel in Italian. She makes the daunting task of learning various grammatical structures and a seemingly never ending amount of vocabulary more enjoyable for me with her positive attitude and in depth explanations on key points that led me to better understand that material I am studying.
