Ideal school for the little ones who want to learn Italian without any effort. Teachers speak English and Italian all day long, both during activities or normal day routine. The ambient is really cozy and feels like leaving my son at home. The staff is professional with real Reggio Emilia and Montessori knowledge plus other important pedagogy skills.
Teachers loves their job and create a real relationship with kids.

This above was my review as a mother of a son who attends Baby Scuola since last year.
I would like to clarify my position: I'm a mother who arrived from Italy two years ago... I take very seriously the selection of the school, and only after a long and deeper research I've found Baby Scuola for my son..finally a school with the same principles I believe. I got so much involved and active to be today ( after a year of my son attending the school) doing a voluntary job inside the school and putting my 10yrs of knowledge and experience in this. I have also visited the Baby College in Italy and started a great and personal relationship with the owners. I have plans for the near future and I Hope To have the opportunity to turn my passion into a real job. Therefore if someone think my past comments are not alowed because I started now my relation with the school, please disregard them.

Babyscuola is more than a daycare for my child; it is a second home

INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES AND CULTURE
Qualified and experienced American mother tongue teachers are present during the whole educational day, to allow children to develop their skills, according to the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches for preschools. Italian, Spanish and French mother tongue teachers help the children become familiar with the language, in a playful and creative way. All our educational experiences and Montessori lessons are planned to nurture the child and his multiple intelligence. Through our workshops the children will improve not only their linguistic intelligence, but also their bodily-kinesthetic, spatial, musical, interpersonal and interpersonal intelligence.
The core of Baby Scuola is the practical experience, this is the first form of knowledge, exploration and discovery of reality that helps children to understand, interpret and reprocess what surrounds them.

We had a few issues with Baby Scuola, mostly with the administration which we later found out is run out of Italy hence getting in touch with them was tricky and we experienced a lot of delays and miscommunication.

They had a very high turnover of staff while our daughter attended for 6 months, perhaps up to 20 people only one of whom was there from the beginning to the end. Alice, the one staff member who was there for the duration, was fantastic and is everything you would want a pre-school teacher to be. The others were all nice enough but didn't stick around long enough for us to form a proper opinion.

While our daughter attended there were complaints from other parents that the place wasn't kept properly clean and as a result our daughter spent a lot of the time off sick. I understand this has now been rectified but it was an issue for us at the time.

The issue with the administration was that when we decided to take our daughter out of the school we issued 30 days' notice as per the contract but realized that we were still being charged after that period. The administration said 'sorry, but as the 30 days' notice falls in the middle of the month we have to charge you the full month' which seemed highly unfair and contrary to the contract but we went along with it as we just wanted to be done with the place. They told us "starting from December 1st you will not be charged the fee"...but then they charged us for December as well! As well as a lot of emails that were not replied to I had to put a block on my credit card and make a formal complaint in order to get the money back.

I understand a number of improvements to the facilities have been made since our daughter left but I would still say that our experience in dealing with the administration and the over-charging we experienced was unfair and contrary to the contract that we had signed.
