Ho fatto un corso d'italiano, ho imparato tanto, molto preparate le insegnanti e tutto lo staff. Stimolanti le lezioni e divertenti le escursioni. Grazie a tutti per questa bellissima esperienza ad Otranto

Highly recommend ILS school. Despite it being offseason in February and the school wasn't officially open, Carlo replied to my email and we met to discuss the options. I took 15 hours of one to one beginner classes with Stefania. Stefania was a great teacher, following the book with listening and grammar activities but also encouraging me to speak all the time in Italian and I learned about local traditions and food. Thank you Carlo and Stefania for making my stay in Otranto even better!

What an amazing experience! I spent three weeks in beautiful Otranto in July 2023 and loved every second of it. Lessons with Lella were fun and interesting, focused mainly on conversation and use of the language on everyday basis. But grammar, exercises, reading and listening were also part of the lessons. The school is small, we were only two students in the group. So, if you are looking for an individual approach to each student, you are in the right place. Accommodation is provided right there, upstairs there is a hotel with nice clean rooms and in the basement classrooms. Schools is located in quiet part of the town, 3 minutes to the sea and 10 to the historic centre. It was an amazing experience, but above all my Italian has improved incredibly. Grazie mille, Carlo e Lella. Ci vediamo presto.

I loved my lessons with Lella. She helped me with grammar, vocabulary and conversation in a friendly and fun way. It was a very good experience for me in Otranto. I highly recommend to enroll with Carlo and ILS.

I had to cancel my week of Italian language training due to sickness. The customer service at this school is basically non-existent. No information on cancellation policy on the website, the reply to e-mails takes a week and consists of few syllables. To keep EUR 250 as a "deposit", when I cancelled well over a week before the start of the course, is quite the modern day robbery. Thanks for nothing ILS.

WARNING this is a SCAM. Its is only a hotel - not a school. I gave them 448-euro for 4 weeks of classes for the month of August (2023) these week-long courses did not exist. I showed up for a site-check on a Monday morning in advance of the courses beginning- the proprietor was RUDE and referred any questions I had to the website although I was standing there- in front of him, having driven from another part of Salento. I expected to be shown the classrooms or texts to be used - but nothing... Why? Because it is a HOTEL and not a school. IT IS A SCAM... STAY AWAY!... He said he would send me all the information I needed prior to the start of the courses - and of course I received nothing- I was SCAMMED out of 448 euro! I will be contacting the language associations the "school" is supposed to be associated with and letting them know this is a SCAM... It's really too bad because a learning holiday makes a lot of sense- but this is not it... Stay AWAY.
