My mom and me have had years of problems with these people of social services. I have a disability and I have many services that I am meant to have, but because me and my mom are Hispanic these racists have refused to give us our services that I and my mom are meant to have. I have never even met my social worker, as they refuse to give us this information as well. My sister even attempted to call the cops and instead the cops sided on their side and threatened my sister instead. These people are rude and heartless. Only black people are favored and walk away with all their qualified benefits while others like Hispanics will need a fortune to walk away with one benefit without arguing with these racists.

Meh. The building employees were a "little" rude at times but once I figured out where I needed to go, it went okay. I simply went in to drop something off to someone.

Perhaps I just caught some of the public servants / guards on a bad day? Or perhaps they need to be trained in how to be polite to members of the public? Then again, perhaps I'm used just accustomed to how things are back home; could this be a socially acceptable way to treat people in this area?

All who work at this place needs professional training and conduct especially when assisting the elderly, no one should be waiting more than 5hrs to get information from their worker or case. Need to look into all who sits behind walls browsing FB tik Tok and IG and all other medias, work is work.

The department of SNAP is horrible designed not to give you any benefits they do their best to deny you. The workers I personally believe they are messed up And they don’t wanna be there, but they need a job…

I've called my caseworker, her supervisor and her supervisor. After that they put me back into the customer service queue which cuts you off after waiting on hold for 20 minutes. Absolutely no way to rectify where the hell my son's medicaid waiver is. Going down to dds today. Not looking forward to. So horribly run. The state should be ashamed of themselves.

Update: I went down to DDS and amazingly got a spot right up front, went to info booth and was pointed in the right direction. Filled out the paperwork and filed it. In and out in less then 45 minutes. Everyone was very nice and helpful. That's the only reason I changed my review from one star to three.

There overnight and weekend emergency services is a joke or better yet non existent. I had a family member in need of emergency housing for the night who is also employed with a very young child and the case worker called back stating she had to come to DSS in the morning. So basically sleep outside for the night. I hope if any of their people are ever in need no assistance is provided. If I could give zero stars I would. Will be filing a formal complaint on all levels.

Is there any accountability in this office? I literally tried to call this office the WHOLE day continuously from 9:00 am until 3:45pm for three days. NO ANSWER!!!! I can't describe my frustration. What kind of PEOPLE are appointed in this office. Is this office the scam? This is really a serious issue. Who can help, please!!!!

Went here today and one staff went above and beyond Ms Harris on E1 window. Appreciate all your help and kindness. Gave detailed instructions since my first time in this building. I just wish that all staff do the same thing. Some staff are not happy to serve and help there. I totally understand. This is a hard place/situation to deal with.
