Ciao Italia é stata una scuola dove io ho imparato molto e, soprattutto, conosciuto persone di diverse culture e paesi! Ci ho studiato per circa tre mesi, nel periodo tra dicembre/18 e febbraio/19. Loro sono stati sempre molto flessibili per adattarsi alle mie necessità di apprendimento e pure per scegliere la forma più conveniente di pagamento (i prezzi sono stati parecchi competitivi)! Ormai, i gruppi sono stati piccoli (nelle lezioni grammaticali il massimo di 4 studenti; conversazione 7) e il metodo di insegnamento l'ho trovato efficace e orientato alla comunicazione. Ci sono anche degli attività extra scolastiche come le visite guidate ai musei romani (con una guida italiana e a prezzi convenienti), visite con gli insegnanti per conoscere la storia del quartiere dove sta la scuola, i film italiani famosi, ecc. La scuola si trova in un quartiere molto centrale di Roma, il Monti, facilmente raggiungibile in mezzi pubblici. La fermata della metro Cavour sta a 10 Min a piedi e, se vi piace la storia romana, ce ne sono tanti musei nell'intorno, come i Fori Imperiali (10 Min a piedi), l'Anfiteatro Flavio (15 Min), I Musei Imperiali nei Mercati di Traiano (10 Min), tra altri. In bocca al lupo!?

Ciao Italia is a great school and I highly recommend it! I studied there for about 4 months and found the teachers to be excellent - experienced, kind, patient, smart, and funny. Daily I took 1.5 hours of grammar and 1.5 hours of conversation. Both were well planned and very enjoyable. I began class knowing almost no Italian and now I can function in everyday life. They were also very flexible with me and my schedule which I really appreciated.

Ciao Italia è una scuola meravigliosa! Gli insegnanti sono bravi, intelligenti, divertenti, hanno molti anni di esperienza, tanta pazienza e le lezioni sono divertenti. Ho frequentato lezioni di grammatica e lezioni di conversazione per più di quattro mesi ed entrambi sono molto utili. Quando ho iniziato non parlavo quasi nessun italiano e ora grazie a loro posso parlare italiano nella mia vita quotidiana. Consiglio vivamente di frequentare Ciao Italia!

I am a retired American who attended Ciao Italia for the month of April 2024. I was in the B1 intensive course. My classes were small (5 students or less counting myself) and the students' ages varied considerably, which was nice. My instructors were excellent: I had Marta for grammar and Marco for conversation. The office staff was available and responsive. The school is in the interesting Monti neighborhood. Find the time to improve your Italian by attending this good school for a least one month.

After I arrived in Rome, I visited three different schools in person before choosing Ciao Italia. It was painfully obvious which one was the right pick. After encounters with distant secretaries and staff that only produced half-answers to my inquiries, Ciao Italia was the first place that felt truly warm and honest. I was met by Silvia, the headmistress herself, who not only answered all my questions but also kindly offered me assistance and advice (not to mention a great price) on my Italian learning journey. After our talk, she took me on a tour of the school which is small and intimate and let me meet the class that I would ultimately become a part of. Suffice to say that for a nervous girl in foreign territory, that meeting left me feeling like the pieces were falling into place.
I’ve now spent four months at the school and have met almost all of the staff. The teachers are some of the warmest, kindest people I have met, brilliant and considerate. In class, they always make you feel comfortable enough to laugh, chitchat and make mistakes. The classes are small with lots of opportunities to ask questions and practice speaking and after hours, there are activities of different kinds to try, ranging from Italian movie showings to cooking courses. At Ciao Italia I have gone from having a literal two-word vocabulary to speaking Italian at B1-level in only 4 months. And I’ve had so much fun doing it!
So, in essence, if you’re looking for a good Italian school in Rome, this is your lucky day. Once you go Ciao Italia, you never go back!

It was an incredibly enriching time in Rome. The combination of your language school “CiaoItalia”and this antique city is first-class. Your language school is pleasantly familiar and at the same time very professional. The two teachers I had, Simona and Marco, are from Rome and put 100% of their energy into the Italian language. They speak clearly, loudly and at the right speed (neither too fast nor too slow). They also have a great sense of humour, so learning in a group is fun and not boring. Thank you so much for that great experience. I will come back!!!

It was my second time at Ciao Italia. As it was a few years before, I went for the Italian language course in Italy for one month on my vacation time. And it was just great! Everything, from the beginning both times, was very well organized and the answers and the information were always provided super quickly, and I had no additional stress, so my special thanks go to Alessia for the amazing work that she has done… The school is located in the city center - very near the famous Colosseum and everything else is just around. The classes at the school are small and everyone there is super friendly and nice. The teachers were the best I had ever had. Simona – is the grande virtue of conversation class whit the great passion and capacity to meet everyone’s needs and to create a special atmosphere by bringing together those very international students. And Marco is definitely the best expert in grammar that even I, who really dislike grammar in any language, could understand and even be motivated to do the homework which I never did before in my Italian language studies... I could say that I have so many laughs and fun, an amazing time whit amazing people plus a high level of knowledge of the Italian language, history, culture, attitude, living here possibilities, and many recommendations of where to go for the meal, what events, museums, and places are interesting to visit in the city and In Italy in general. So, I want to thank everyone for this amazing experience, and I definitely want to come back as soon as possible ?

I spent a week in Rome at Ciao Italia doing an intensive course and I learned so much in just one week. The location of the school in the Monti area is kind of amazing to say the least. Because of "lockdown" I have been able to continue classes online with the school for the last 8 months and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The teachers are all really interested in their students and love what they do. We study in small groups and the classes are a very happy space. I have made friends for life and can have a real conversation in Italian.
