I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it was not a good fit for us.
It is clean and seemed welcoming which I liked but our experience wasn’t the best.

- lost my son’s extra clothes the first week (never found them, never replaced them… just “oh well”)

- my son cried every morning, didn’t want to go (this isn’t his first preschool, he has been to 2 other preschools over 3yrs, he’s used to the routine)…so it was really odd that he was so upset to go there.

- excessive “incident” reports for everything. I know my son isn’t perfect, he’s gotten incident reports in the past and some of the ones he received were valid. But cmon “running out of the classroom” is not an “incident”, “splashing water in the bathroom” is not an “incident”. He’s 4…. Let’s be realistic.

- most annoying though, you HAVE to drop them off by 9:30am because it’s “disruptive” to the class. They actually WONT take your child if it’s past 9:30. That’s crazy! Parents PAY to have the Preschool accommodate their schedule. But if you have appointments or meetings and can’t make it there by 9:30, YOU have to take the day off to watch your child AND still pay them!!
Even a public school would take a child after 9:30 without a note. And let’s be real…. Unless it’s naptime, what are you “disrupting”, Everytime I’ve been there it’s chaos.

Ever since the change in ownership, I have witnessed a remarkable transformation in the level of attention and service provided by the school. The dedication and commitment shown by the new owners have elevated the overall learning experience for our children.

From the very beginning, it was evident that the new management prioritized the well-being and development of each student. The teachers and staff members have gone above and beyond to create a nurturing environment. The socio emotional support they are offering is amazing!!! They have implemented an amazing program.

The quality of education at Learning Center Dr. Philips is truly top notch. I have noticed a significant improvement in my child's academic performance. Staff is so careful and dedicated. He is so happy to come every day to school. We as parents are so grateful to have chosen this center to our child. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this center!!!!

The Learning Center is a wonderful place. The teachers are kind and love the kids and really push to have the kids learn and grow. It’s also an extremely inclusive school. Accepting of kids of all skill levels and learning disabilities. It’s a wonderful place to send your child for preschool.

I am writing this review with an overwhelming sense of disappointment, disgust, and deep concern for the safety of the children at this preschool. My recent experience with this establishment has left me utterly repulsed by their complete disregard for the well-being and security of their students.

The incident that transpired involving a young toddler wandering off and suffering a gnash is absolutely inexcusable. It is beyond comprehension how a preschool, which is entrusted with the care and education of young children, could allow such a dangerous situation to occur. The fact that this incident was a result of a racist teacher's negligence only adds another layer of outrage to this already horrifying situation.

The safety of our children should be of the utmost priority in any educational institution, especially a preschool. Parents should feel confident and assured that their little ones are in a nurturing and secure environment. However, this preschool has clearly failed in this fundamental aspect. How can any parent trust an establishment that cannot even ensure the basic safety of its students? It is not just the incident itself that has left me appalled, but also the complete lack of accountability and responsibility demonstrated by the preschool. Rather than promptly addressing the issue, conducting a thorough investigation, and taking appropriate action, they seem to be brushing it aside. This lack of transparency and urgency only serves to compound the sense of betrayal and disappointment I feel.

I implore the management and staff of this preschool to take a long, hard look at their practices and make the necessary changes to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in their care. It is high time they recognize the gravity of their failures and take immediate steps to rectify the situation.
To any parents considering enrolling their children in this preschool, I strongly advise against it. The safety and security of our children should never be compromised, and it is evident that this establishment cannot provide the level of care and protection that our precious ones deserve.

In conclusion, I am utterly disappointed, disgusted, and repulsed by the lack of safety and responsibility displayed by this preschool. Their inability to prevent a young toddler from wandering off and suffering harm is a testament to their negligence. They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves, and I sincerely hope that they take swift action to address their failings and prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.

I finally found a place that wasn’t fully booked in the Dr. Phillips area for my 2 yo daughter, and now I understand why. My daughter would come home with scratches and bruises without any incident reports being done or communicated to me. When I would ask staff what happened, they would look at me with dumbfounded faces like they weren’t even aware that my child was being injured. Not to mention my child had 2-3 different “teachers” in her classroom in the short period she was there. When I asked to speak to the director, she did nothing to address the continuous problem. Management is poor and their communication is horrible. I had to pull my daughter out of that daycare mid year despite how inconvenient it was for my schedule and find another location that was super far from home. Very disappointed and I would NOT recommend.
